Swara Yoga School teaches an holistic way of living which is guided through the wisdom of Yoga.

Holistic Nutrition plays an important role on all our trainings and programs. We understand the practices of yoga become much more empowering when we live yoga “off the mat”. As we practice Yoga, we cultivate sensitivity and a subtle awareness, which allow us to feel the imprint of foods on our bodies, state of mind and emotional connection.

In our philosophy food is more than taste. When we follow the blueprint of Nature and it´s seasons we start to connect with the energy of food and its purpose.

In a time where returning to the Earth as our teacher is vital, we choose plant based diets for our courses and bring an ecological and social awareness just in plate of food.

We aim to inspire you to respect your body, Mother Earth and develop an attitude towards food that is creative and enjoyed by you.

The menus for our trainings and retreats are carefully planned following the energy of the 5 Elements and drawing from the wisdom of Ayurveda and Macrobiotics. 80% of the ingredients we use are organic and no matter how focused you get in your yoga studies, there is always time for you to hang out in the kitchen and learn some tricks from our chef.
