This first module is designed to give you the foundations of Yoga in terms of philosophy, anatomy, body awareness and breath. These principles you will use them often and hopefully by the end of your training they are well grounded in yourself.
Learning the philosophy of the Vedas will give you a context of where this practice comes from.
The Ujjayi breath and natural breath are the foundations of your movement and body awareness, which you can put into practice in the sun salutations.t where you will discover the basic components of our bodies in relation to movement and all the nerdy terms to describe how we move in space.
Special feature of Module 1 is the intro to Ayurveda, the incredible natural healing system of India and sister science to Yoga.
By studying the foundational principles of yoga, you will build your knowledge and skills as a yoga teacher and will be able to use these principles as the basis of your yoga classes.
In the second module you will:
Study the contributions of Patanjali, the father of Yoga; to help you explore further and understand the social and philosophical contexts of yoga practice.
Explore two more breathing techniques that can be practiced by anyone and used in any class.
Dive into studying lower body and the concept of stability.
Continue to explore Ayurveda as a discipline of self-inquiry and knowledge.
Enjoy the practical yoga class and connect with the strength, stability and grounding energies of the lower body.

In this module we will explore:
Patanjali´s Royal Path of Yoga, Patanjali´s step by step guide for the aspiring yogi/yogini.
We continue to study the body; the anatomy and alignment classes will be looking at the knees and thighs.
We will further explore dynamic breath patterns with pranayama.
Our special feature of Module 3 is the conclusion of the Ayurveda section of the training with tips on how to integrate it in our daily lives.
In Module 4, we will:
Further explore human anatomy by studying hips. Our hips store a lot of our physical and energetic patterns and serve, as a bridge between the upper and lower body.
We will explore the inner yoga and will look at the internal root lock (Mula Bandha) which is essential to the concept of inner stability.
We will learn ways how the breath work can support it.
The module will finish with the fundamental ingredients for teaching yoga, those timeless principles that will stay with you in every class you will teach.
In Module 5 we will explore:
Psoas muscle and the importance of activating this connection with our yoga practice.
We will learn the fundamental theory and practice of Uddhiyana Bandha, the energetic practice that supports the connection between Psoas and breath.
We will start to learn how to build sequences and set themes for classes.
The module will conclude with instructions on how to put together a dynamic class.
In this module we will look into the anatomy of shoulders and the need for mobility, stability and strength in this party of the body.
We will also explore how we can we can experience a range of movements in the yoga practice.
For the first time we will introduce Nadi Shodana, the balancing alternate nostril breathing and its calming effects on the mind and body.
Study the non-dualist philosophy of Tantra by learning it’s origins and practical application in our daily lives.
In the special feature of Module 6 we will learn how to apply the principles of constructing a yoga class and create a restorative yoga sequence.
In this module:
We will complete the exploration of the bandhas by looking at the third lock - the throat lock (jalandhara bandha) and how it affects our communication.
We will continue deepening our knowledge of yoga philosophy by looking at the lineages of yoga and how yoga practice has evolved to the contemporary yoga we see in our culture today.
We will explore guided meditations for beginners and the effects of meditation on the health of our bodies and minds.
In this module:
We will further explore the breathing practices of pranayama,including breath retention, sound and internal locks.
We will study The Bhagavad Gita introducing you to a heart oriented philosophy.
The anatomy comes together with the presentation of full system of energy lines in the body (Nadis).
We will look at the detoxifying qualities of the twists.
As a special feature in this module we introduce you to Holistic Nutrition and yogic lifestyle.
In this module:
Calming and toning the nervous system might be one of the best benefits of yoga practice. We will cover the nervous system, relaxation practices (savasana) and the sensory practice of blindfolded yoga.
In the philosophy section we will look at the Puranas.
In the anatomy section we will look at the System of Layers, which will add another dimension to your anatomy knowledge.
We will also wrap up the nutrition chapter with practical tips that you can implement now to improve your health.
Although we will still share with you some new concepts, the module 10 focuses on integrating everything you have learned so far.
We will look at a multi alignment practice, the integration of bandhas and breath, as well as the muscular and skeletal systems.
We will get practical on how you can market your yoga business in an ethical and professional manner.
We will leave you with some food for thought with Vaisheshika, the physics of yoga and the Vayus System.
